Privacy

We keep what the game needs to run and nothing more.

What we store

• Your username and email address (required at sign-up).
• A password hash (argon2). We never store your password itself.
• Whether you opted in to the newsletter.
• Your game progress: characters, position, HP, inventory and honor.
• Short-lived password-reset and login-handoff tokens, stored only as hashes.

IP addresses are held only in server memory for rate limiting. They are not stored.

Why

To run your account, let you recover it, and send the newsletter if you opted in.

Who processes it

• Our own mail relay delivers our email.
• When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for bots on sign-up and password reset.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies. Your browser's localStorage holds your session token so you stay signed in.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account, email support@thelivingworld.gg.

Ads and selling data

There is no advertising, and we do not sell your data.
